Find an EELE

Each state park and recreation area has an EELE curriculum guide that includes on-site activities, pre- and post-visit activities, student information pages, worksheets, fact sheets, vocabulary, and references. Following are some samples of state park EELE's.

You can receive a free copy of an EELE by attending its corresponding workshop at a park, or you can borrow these guides through interlibrary loan at any public library in North Carolina. The original edition of many of the state park EELEs can be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC). ERIC is sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences of the U.S. Department of Education.
